The openwork grid of the Mikhailovsky garden on the side of the Church-monument to the Savior on spilled Blood is an integral element of the unique architectural ensemble in the center of St. Petersburg, which includes a Church with a bell tower, a chapel-Museum and an art fence. Made in 1903—1907 at the factory of Carl Winkler based on drawings by Alfred Alexandrovich Parland-architect and decorator of the Savior on spilled Blood. Forged decorative elements repeated the floral ornament of the Church's decorative furnishings in the metal.
